Throughout summer 2018 John Lewis, Oxford Street, has been home to a rooftop garden by The Gardening Society. Designed by gardener Tony Wood, previously awarded RHS National Young Garden Designer of the Year. The pop up restaurant and bar garden will be open until 4th September 2018. It is decked out with plants and herbs, a bird feeding wall and water feature, along with a set of bookable summerhouses surrounded by white picket fences.
This rooftop has been my go to destination this summer, it is a hidden gem tucked away in zone 1 from all the congestion and noise from the streets below sitting below.
